I then closed the message and attempted to store it with the result being the display of the error message.

I did click on a link in it to view a commercial web page. Today I got the message after reading an e-mail and attempting to store it directly in an Outlook folder before closing it – no replying, no editing, no extended delay. I purchased a standalone Outlook 2013 last year, which runs on my Windows 7 64 bit PC. My "workaround" of just moving the affected users to PCs still running 1909 isn't going to work anymore, since we don't have Enterprise and 1909 is end of support after May.I have been getting his error message recently. Sometimes I can do all the various fixes (new OST, reset Windows Search, etc.), and it will act fine for a few days before it starts up again. Some crash a dozen times a day, some once or twice. I've got ~150 devices on 2004/20H2, and maybe 5-10 are affected to various degrees. I've even got a shared account that's used on 2 identical PCs running the same verisions of everything, and Outlook crashes constantly on one PC, works flawlessly on the other. What's odd is there's no single cause I can find between the affected devices.

It only affects certain computers and only happens on Win10 2004 and up. I've been dealing with it for months with a handful of users, and like you've found, nothing fixes it for good. It’s gotten so bad I tell them to just use Outlook online but they don’t want to do that all the time. There’s no fancy AV on their workstations and they’re pretty powerful workstations (i7/16gb/1Tb SSD), no complicated add-ins, just teams.

I think our largest mailbox is 55gb and that’s an archive box. These are VIP users and they do tend to get a lot of mail, but their box is usually no more than 20/30gb.

Even ran Outlook advanced diagnostics but the issues keep returning.

Tried updating and even setting a few to different release channels.

Disable sync settings (which I’d rather have kept).

I removed them from auto mapping delegates or shared mailboxes.

But every day o hear it keeps happening to the same users over and over no matter what I do. Every time I ask for them to reproduce, it doesn’t seem to do it. I’ll get screenshots of the whole window dimmed out as Not Responding. This runs the usual gamut they’re searching for an email, or draft a new or reply message, or in/out of their calendar and the whole thing freezes. We’re a 365 non-hybrid shop users E3 or higher with some on just Exchange P2, semi-annual release channel. Recently over the last few months I’ve been seeing an increase in complaints from users about their outlook being slow.
